The Bible rocks. Lamech stinks.

Jill and I are going to read the Bible together in a year. :) We've already started and I am very excited! I was already to Leviticus, and I will probably (maybe?) continue from there myself anyway, but Jill and I started in Genesis yesterday. We figured out that if we read five chapters a day, five days a week, we'll probably be done in time for new year's, even though we started a little late.

EEK! In fact, I need to be getting over to Jill's house now. :) Genesis 6-10. Noah and the Flood! YAY!

love, me

The other day, I was driving home from work, and I saw a rainbow. A really, really bright one. So bright, in fact, that I was convinced God was trying to tell me something.

Later, I realized what it was. At the time of Noah, rain became a symbol of destruction. The rainbow was a sign that things were to be otherwise. Now, rain is a sign of life, of God's move. Thus the super-bright rainbow...or soemthing like that.
